Refuse to Lose
Album: Across the Frequency
Lyrics by Melissa Bianco
An energetic 1980s hard rock anthem with crunchy guitars, punchy drums, and gritty male vocals, driven by competitive swagger and a refusal to back down.
Lyrics
Ready
Strike
Go
You wanna do damage?
Lookin’ like you do
I’m not afraid of you
Let’s see this through
Pick up your sword
You and me – war
Court’s already set
Serve steady – don’t sweat
Quick shot over the bow
No more waitin’ now
One point – clean hit
Yeah, I can take it
You’re a big dog
Hear the growl
On the prowl
Ready to strike
Yeah, you look good in those big man shoes
But I refuse to lose
Point two –
That’s for you
Placement tight
Say it – wanna fight?
Might be a little broke
Yeah, your shots – stone cold
Back when I was prime
You’d be chasin’ double time
Body’s shakin’, nerves are breakin’
Head’s poundin’, nearly dead
Take your best shot, I’ll take all you got
I refuse to lose
Not over
Not goin’ down
Second wind
Still holdin’ ground
I’m not through
I’m comin’ for you
